A silent and cheap CLC pump is almost as expensive as a whole Noctua NH-D15, it might all in all end up to costs the same as 3 noctua NH-D15 for a good and silent clc . Hope i can keep my i7 4790k at temps below 80 with prime 95 by only having the cpu cooler running at max rpm and low load temps under 50 degrees (both with case fans at low rpm)
Martin778. There is a thing with 360mm AIO's, most of them are noise optimized meaning they have pretty low RPM fans, which isn't ideal for heavy OC and prolonged stress testing. H150i really starts to shine with the fans swapped to Noctua, insteaed of the stock ones.

The best performing fans on the market in terms of CFM and static pressure are (IMO) the Noctua A14 iPPC 3000s @160CFM. The D15 performs extremely well under 250W sustained loads, but struggles when you start to go north of 280W. The thermal performance also starts to stagnate when the fans push past ~2300RPM.

The NH-D15 is a beast of a cooler. It should have no problem cooling a 12700k. People also overlook the fact your case temperatures will be atleast slightly better with an air cooler since you don't have a radiator blocking your front intake fans.
